CAMPUS WAY BOARD
Governance
Organizational Structure: The Campus Way was founded as an independent 501(c) 3 in 2006. It is not affiliated with any other ministry or church. The local board for Campus Way is the sole controlling leadership for the organization.
Governing Board: The Campus Way Board is a governing board which means that this board has the authority to lead the ministry and make critical decisions for the ministry.
Staff Director: The board strategizes with, supports, oversees and encourages the staff director who is the hands on leader. Although the board is authoritative, the board hires a director to lead the ministry on a day to day basis.
Board Positions: The board is made up of a board chairman & vice chairman who, with the director, make up the executive team. Other positions include treasurer, secretary and team leaders.
Executive Team: The complete board is the controlling board. The executive team exists for the staff director to have the ability to approach a smaller subset of the board when necessary for advice or decisions that need to be made urgently.
Advisory Board: The advisory board exists for board members who desire to be supportive but at this time are unable to make a commitment to the full board.
