Prospective Board Application

Thank you for your interest in the Campus Way Board. Our desire is to partner with Godly men and women who desire to be used by God, have a passion to grow the Kingdom, who are generous with however God has blessed them, and are committed to mission and success of the Campus Way. Below is the procedure we use to screen incoming board members. If it is God's plan for you to be on our board then we trust it things will move forward according to his will. If you have not been approached by our board but are interested in applying, although that is not our normal proticol, we will be happy to review your application.

New Board Member Procedure

1. Prospective Board member is approached by a member of our board.

2. Prospective Board member reviews information and fills out application at www.campusway.org (board link).

3. Campus Way Chairman and Staff Director review application.

4. Campus Way Chairman and Staff Director communicate with prospective board member regarding a meeting request if applicable.

5. After meeting, if prospective board member is seen as a good candidate, prospective board member will be invited to meet the rest of the board at a board meeting.

6. After board meeting, a formal communication will come from the board with an approval or denial of the candidate.

We are looking for Godly men and women who really desire to make a difference. Prior to filling out an application please read the information located in the board link on this website. If you have not read please do so pior to proceeding. The normal process for potential board members is as follows:

6. After board meeting a formal communication will come from board for either approval or denial of candidate.

Statement of Faith

1. We believe the bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God and the authority for Christian faith and life.

2. We believe in one God, the creator of all things who is eternally existent in three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the scriptures. Further, He rose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven where he is seated at the right hand of the Father.

4. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells, guides, instructs, prunes, and empowers the believer for Godly living and to carry out the Great Commission.

5. We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for forgiveness, justification, and salvation for all who believe. Those who truly believe in such are born again, are indwelled by the Holy Spirit, and thus are saved and promised eternal life.

6. We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7. We believe that believer baptism, although not a matter of salvation, was consistently demonstrated by Jesus and his Apostles and that believers today should be encouraged to prayerfully consider this act of honor and obedience to Jesus.
