¹³No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

God is faithful!  This is from Chorinthians 10:13, NIV.  God, Father, Immanuel (which means, "God with us"), is full of mercy, undeserved love, and forgiveness. He wants us to follow His ways, and forgives us when we fail.  He hears prayer. 

    ² Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, ³ because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. ⁴ Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. ⁵ If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. ⁶ But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. ⁷ Those who doubt should not think they will receive anything from the Lord; ⁸ they are double-minded and unstable in all they do.  --From James 1 TNIV

I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. ²⁴Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. --John 16 NIV

Hey everyone--

Only 10 days until the party at Jay's parents house! I am very excited--

I am also thinking about getting baptized...but i'm not sure yet because I know my parents wouln't aprove--they already don't want me going to Campus Way, they think that youth group at church is enough. So I really feel the push from God to get baptised, but I also know that God told us to obey our parents. What do you think I should do? Let me know. The advice would be great.
