18) I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Sometimes, we might feel like what we are going through is the end of the world. But consider this "look at the size of the problem and compare it to the size of God"
God is bigger than anything. and through our "present sufferings" or hardships, God will work glory. he will reveal something in us that we never have seen before. God is truely amazing in the way her work. through my struggle, i was saved. and God planned it to be that way. now that i am saved, is my life problem-free? ABSOLUTLEY NOT! but every hardship i go through brings me closer to God and teaches me something i may have not otherwise known. |

"9)You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ , he does not belong to Christ. 10) But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11) And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you." The Spirit is right beside you, you just need to accept that it's there. |

Romans 8:18-19, 24-25
18) I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19) The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 24) For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25) But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
Think about that -- our present sufferings are not even worth comparing to the glory to come. That must be a ton of glory guys! Keep persevering, sharing our hope, and praying for patience. |

Hi everyone,
I want to encourage you all with these words from Romans 8:
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[l] 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It's an awesome part of scripture. Get your Bible or log on to biblegateway.com and read the rest of Romans 8-- it's so encouraging.
Post your comments on Romans 8 and any other prayer requests or encouragement.
