So, i was going to my friends house to hang out with some of the girls from my dance class. my friend, isnt Christian and lives somewhat of a "bad lifestyle" i guess you could say. she and some of the other girls that were there smoke, drink, have involved relationships, etc.

my mom came to pick me up and on the way out the door my friend was like "jenn-i really like youre neckalce" and i said back to her "here-its yours." she was in awe that i gave it to her just like that. she still isnt living for God but she is thinking about coming to campus way and wears the cross every now and then.

this story just goes to show how God is working in ALL of our lives!

In first semester, I had gym 4/5 hour.  There are/were two other classes besides mine at the same time.  The week before we got the crosses, a girl in a different class named Alex comented on my, "Christianity is not a Religion" shirt.  The Wednesday or so after the retreat, I remembered that Alex had said something about my shirt.  I decided to give my cross to her, even though I know she didn't ask.  I just think that people don't have to ask about it to give it to them, you just have to know the right people to give it to.

Have you gotten to give the cross we each recieved at the Winter Retreat to anyone yet?

I volunteer in the special ed art class at KMHS.  When I walked into class, one of the special ed teachers said that she loved my cross. I was really excited because I had been praying for an opportunity to give it to someone. This was not what I expected, though, because I was only thinking that it would be another student that I would give it to. This reminded me to be aware of all the opportunities to spread God's word -- not just to my peers, but to adults too. The teacher I gave the cross to said she was going to do the same thing I did and give it to someone else! Awesome!
