At Campus Way we have always been about making disciples but now we just want to go deeper. In order to do this we are selecting one to several students from each campus to join the Campus Way staff on a journey to true discipleship. One of the very strong beliefs of our ministry is that people learn how to be followers of Christ by doing what Christ did. In a few words we would describe it as

"On the Job Discipleship Training"

Student disciples will be meeting with staff on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 8-11am for challenging bible study, evangelism training, student leadership training, on the job evangelism in the community, and serving the poor and or helping those in need. We are very excited about this new tier to our ministry. Although we have done these things in the past, a school night has not always been the easiest time to pull this off. In addition our student leadership teams have had students of varied points in their walks. Student Disciples will be a place for students that really want to grow and be committed.

On a scale of 1-10, with one being very little, and 10 being an extreme amount, how bad do you want to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

Student disciples commit to be student leaders at their respective Campus Way groups for the entire school year. In addition, student disciples commit to coming to the Campus Way Winter Retreat (Jan 28-30th) and Summer Camp. (June 22/23-June 26th, 2011) In addition, student disciples are required to come to Campus Way staff training/discipleship on the 2nd Saturday morning of every month from 8-11 am. There are 10 meetings scheduled. Student disciples must make 8 of these meetings. If a student misses more than 2 meetings, they may be removed from the program. At these discipleship meetings, on several occasions, we will be going to Waukesha, Milwaukee, the mall or to other city ministries to share our faith and/or serve those in need. In those instances, students will be accompanied and transported by Campus Way Staff. Can you make, and do you agree to this commitment?
