About Summer Camp
4- Day Camp Option Thursday, June 24th- Sunday, June 27th
A trip to Mount Olympus in the Wisconsin Dells, rock climbing as Devils Lake, team challenges, outdoor sand volleyball, basketball, ultimate frisbee, swimming and Funyak's at Devils Lake, small group, amazing worship, campfire parties, inspirational faith-boosting messages, low ropes challenge, tetherball, full size gym with basketball, climbing wall, a game room hiking..etc!!! There will also be paintball, for an additional $20. This will all take place at Expeditions Unilimited Christian Camp Center located right across from Devils Lake in the Baraboo/Wisconsin Dells Area.
COST: $250 plus $20 transport fee (See below for discounts)
5 Day Camp Option Wednesday, June 23rd-Sunday, June 27th
All of the above plus: A day and half Wisconsin river canoe adventure with beach camping! This will be a guided canoe trip with Expedition Unlimited Guides and Campus Way Staff.
Cost $350 plust $20 transport fee (see below for discounts)
What Supervision Will Be in Place?
Jay Cavaiani the founder of the Campus Way will be on-site and leading the entire camp. Jay has been volunteering at and/or directing camps for the past 7 years. Jay has also been trained in camp directing. Please click on the About the Director link for more information on Jay. You may also contact Corrine the Campus Way Administrator at 262-510-2988 or corrine@campusway.org. Additionally, there will be many Campus Way staff members and volunteers helping throughout the weekend. The adult to student ratio is expected to be at least 1 to 8. Boys and girls will be at separate cabins with ample supervision at each cabin.
What Should I Bring?
Towel, all bathroom needs, sleeping bag, pillow, both long and short sleeve clothes, bug spray, swim wear, athletic shoes, sunscreen, bible, notebook, pen, spending money.
What is the Cost (Discounts)?
$250 for Thursday-Sunday, or $350 for an extra day canoeing trip. In addition, there is a transportation fee of $20 round trip if you'd like Campus way to transport you to and from Expeditions Unlimited from Campus Way Headquarters in Wales. This fee is paid the day of camp. THERE IS ALSO A $50 SCHOLARSHIP FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NEVER BEEN TO A SUMMER CAMP OR WINTER RETREAT BEFORE! You may put $50 down and then pay the remaining balance the first day of camp if you so choose. Additional significant discounts apply for those participating in Miles For His Mission. (Please see Miles for His Mission at the Campus Way Home Page) You can get all of the information in the brief instruction booklet which tells you about the significant discounts you can earn by running, walking, or biking for the Campus Way and raising donations from your friends and famiily in the process. That event is on Sunday afternoon May 2nd. Sometimes we additionally offer scholarships which you can indicate your interest in obtaining by filling out the registratoin form for camp online.
What Does the Camp Cost Include?
Camp shirt, materials, all food and beverages, cabin housing, speakers, snacks, the worship band, activity costs (including Mount Olympus), camping fees, state park fees, staff and programming. Everything at camp is covered. There are additional snacks available for sale at the resort and at Mount Olympus if you want to bring spending money. There are two costs to keep in mind. The $20 transport fee paid at Campus Way Headquarters prior to departing and if you want to paint ball that is an additional $20 fee.
How Do I Register?
Register by clicking on the registration button below and completing the sign up for AND submitting payment (two steps). Or you may mail your form and a check to Campus Way. You must place at least a $50 deposit to sign up for camp if you choose not to pay the full camp cost in advance.
