About Summer Camp
The Campus Way Summer Camp is sure to be a fun and powerful event! Adam Cates will be our speaker and also help with worship. Adam is a song-writing worshipper from Norfolk, Virginia and his music invites listeners into the journey of friendship with God and love for humanity. Adam says, “My goal is to fill the earth with the sound of worship that surrounds the throne of God in Heaven so that when He returns to the earth He will feel right at home.” Adam is also a gifted speaker and in the process of planting a church in Virginia. A trip to Noah's Ark, Camp set up challenge, tent camping adventure, team challenges, swimming, sporting games, small group,"Way Deep Meetings", campfire party, inspirational faith-boosting messages, worship and hiking.
About Mirror Lake State Park
Mirror Lake State Park is a 2200 acre park offering a lake, stream, hiking and biking trails, beach, campgrounds, and park area. It is located about 15 minutes from the Dells and Devils Lake.
About our Campsite
We will be tent camping at several group wooded sites. Twenty campers to a site. There is about a 300+ ft hike from our parking spot to the group sites. There is a newer nice bathroom very close that offers showers, sinks and flush toilets. There is a shelter near our site as well as a field for games and competitions.
What Supervision Will Be in Place?
Jay Cavaiani the founder of Great Mission Ministries and the Campus Way will be on-site and leading the entire camp. Jay has been volunteering at and/or directing camps for the past 6 years. Many of the GMM/Campus Way board members, wives and families will be serving at camp throughout the weekend. Additionally, there will be adult staff members and volunteers helping throughout the weekend. The adult to student ratio is expected to be at least 1 to 8. Boys and girls will be at separate camp sites with ample supervsion at each site.
What Should I Bring?
Towel, all bathroom needs, sleeping bag, pillow, both long and short sleeve clothes, bug spray, swim wear, athletic shoes, sunscreen, bible, notebook, pen, spending money.
What is the Cost?
$190 In addition, there is a transportation fee of $20 round trip if you'd like to ride with us on the bus to Mirror Lake which you can pay the day fo camp. THERE IS ALSO A $50 SCHOLARSHIP FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NEVER BEEN TO A SUMMER CAMP OR WINTER RETREAT BEFORE! You may put $50 down and then pay the remaining balance the first day of camp if you so choose.
What Does the Camp Cost Include?
Camp shirt, materials, all food and beverage, all tents and equipment (please let us know if you have a functional tent we can use), activity costs (including Noah's Ark), camping fee's, state park fee's, staff and programming.
How Do I Register?
Register by clicking on the registration button below and comleting the sign up for AND submitting payment (two steps). OR you may mail your form and a check to Campus Way. You must place at least a $50 deposit to sign up for camp if you choose not to pay the full camp cost in advance.
